On 7th December at 18h30, O Sisters will be presenting a selection of carols and seasonal choral songs in the wonderful setting of the Abbaye de Cassan. So the weather has been meh, but don’t worry LE QUIZ is back on October 15th!  Our quiz masters will challenge you once again with this fun, interactive quiz! Teams of 6 will be put through their paces with rounds on music, general knowledge, surprise themes and more! Great prizes to be won.
Questions are in French and English – so you will need to put your heads together with your French or Anglophone chums to create a winning team! Of course if you don’t have a team, the LSR matchmakers will find one for you on the night

Saturday October 19 at 7 p.m. , the local LSR group from Olonzac with the support of the VEEM association (Vivre Ensemble en Minervois) is organizing this year again a musical and festive evening at the Salle des Fêtes de Siran (34210) opposite the Town Hall.

On June 29, 2024 at Château St Jacques d'Albas in Laure Minervois, a summer dinner "A Taste of Caunes" will take place for the benefit of Languedoc Solidarity with Refugees.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with aperitifs and canapés on the terrace, while we will be entertained by the renowned recital pianist Duncan Williams, professor of opera at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This The show will be followed by a sumptuous 4-course meal prepared by Chef Linda from La Table d'Emile. A selection of wines from Château St Jaques d'Albas will be offered for sale, as well as non-alcoholic drinks.

We will organize our usual raffle, with excellent prizes, as well as a sale service auctions. This year, all auction prizes offer unique experiences.

Sunday, May 19, Pézenas. Join us for an afternoon of jazz and swing at the beautiful Seigneurie de Peyrat, near Pezenas. We've lined up a great lineup of musicians, along with magnificent wines and a selection of food provided by Ken & Alison Catering.

Tickets are €15 and include a glass of delicious wine. As always, all profits from this event will go directly to supporting our refugee work in Languedoc and beyond.

LSR Minervois, Saturday, November 18, 2023, Autumn Evening !

Come and enjoy a musical and dancing evening to the sound of Bon'Z'Enfants and La Petite Ciguë in support of Languedoc Solidarity with Refugees . Both groups play a mix of French and English music. English, ranging from jazz to rock. Complete the autumn evening with a bowl of chili and a glass of wine. All profits from the evening are donated to Languedoc Solidarity with Refugees .

The Bon'Z'Enfants group was created in 2006 by a group of amateur musicians from Ornaisons, joined by musicians from neighboring villages, mostly students from the Lézignan Conservatory. It is above all a group of friends music enthusiasts who love to share their passion. Their repertoire rock and jazzy is composed of French and Anglo-Saxon varieties.

The Little Hemlock is a trio composed of a double bass, a guitar and a singer Montpellier. Their repertoire is a mixture of French songs and English.

Location - Siran , 34210, Salle des Fêtes, opposite the Town Hall

Aperitif at 7 p.m. - program starts at 7:30 p.m.

€25 per person, the price includes a bowl of chili and a glass of wine. Vegetarian chili is available.

Thanks to the generosity of artists from Caunes-Minervois and elsewhere, we are able to present an auction of works of art for the benefit of Languedoc Solidarity with Refugees (LSR).

Throughout the year, our LSR volunteer group in Caunes-Minervois, Olonzac, and the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, and thanks to the support of our donors, provides assistance to 33 refugee families in Carcassonne by providing them with food, school supplies, and other essential needs.

At our "Taste of Caunes" fundraising dinner on September 30th, we're holding a sealed art auction. The auction catalog is available here. You can bid in two different ways by following the instructions below. You can make more than one bid, and we ask that you honor at least one.

If you attend the September 30th dinner, you will be able to view the artwork and make a sealed bid that evening. If your bid is successful, we ask that you pay by cash or check payable to LSR whenever possible. Your artwork will be wrapped and you will be free to collect it that evening.

LSR volunteer groups from around Carcassonne make monthly food deliveries to come to Helping the most deprived refugees. This year again, LSR volunteers from Caunes Minervois are organizing a friendly social event that includes a dinner, an art auction, a raffle, and live music.

On September 12, 2023, a magical musical evening “Under the Stars” at the historic Château du Parc near Pézenas.

Your ticket includes a gourmet picnic (Classic and Plant-Based options available) and a glass of wine. The venue has tables and benches (we can reserve tables for reservations of 6 people). There will also be a bar throughout the evening.
